Family Pinewood Derby Race

Thanksgiving

We had family from Dayton and Las Vegas out for Thanksgiving this year. It was a lot of fun. We were all just getting over the stomach flu but the food tasted pretty good anyway. The cousins had a good time. The weather was beautiful and the kids spent most of the time outside playing. They all made pinewood derby cars and we had a big race one day. They played Ninja Destruction and watched some good movies.

The Bestest Mom

Well, once again I earned the title of the bestest Mom. Yay!!! What did I do you ask? Well, it wasn't saving someone from a burning building. It wasn't spending hours and days on a school project to achieve an A+. It wasn't actually any sacrifice at all.
I fed my Erik food we don't usually eat for breakfast. He was so excited, the look on his face was priceless. " You're the bestest Mom ever " he said. "I love you soooo much"
Well, I have to say, I will definantely have to do that more often. :) I guess its the simple things in life.

Volcanoes

Landon got to come stay with us for a few days while Bransen was born. He and Erik had a great time. One day, we made "volcanoes". They had a blast!! It kept them totally occupied and kept the messes cleaned up for 2 hours!!!
