A day at the lake.

We went out to Lake Mead for the day. It is September and almost hot enough to swim. The boys found a lot of snails and crawdads and all kind of yucky stuff. Afterwards we drove out to see the new bridge at Hoover Dam. We have been doing a ton of science projects lately. Most have involved plants. It looks like a greenhouse here!

School

Neil's shift at work changed for at least 6 months in August. He will be working nights and weekends. We have always wondered about homeschooling and figured this would be the time. We are doing an online charter school. So far, so good. I have loved learning with my kids and knowing what they are learning. We have had a lot of opportunities to go do things during the week when Neil is off. He now gets to see ALOOOOOOOT of the kids!!! During September we went to the Polar Bear Exhibit with some friends. We are still trying to get our schedules down and figure out what works best for us.
